Things to do
Scuba Diving. Drop into one of Asia's richest reef systems.
The Andamans sit on the edge of a coral triangle teeming with hard and soft corals, reef sharks, schooling barracuda and the occasional manta. Whether it's your first breath underwater or your hundredth dive, our PADI- and SSI-certified partners will match the site to your skill.
What to expect
Try-dives include a 30-minute briefing, a confined-water skills session and a guided dive to about 12 metres with one instructor per two students. Certified divers head to deeper sites like Johnny's Gorge, Dixon's Pinnacle and The Wall.
Reef life
Expect parrotfish, angelfish, lionfish, moray eels, octopus and turtles on most dives. Manta rays and reef sharks are seasonal but possible — visibility regularly hits 25–30 metres between November and April.
Safety & training
All operators we book run dive computers per diver, oxygen on board and DAN-aligned emergency procedures. Open Water and Advanced certifications run on 3- and 5-day cycles.
