Shaheed Dweep
Neil Island
Slow mornings, empty beaches, and the Andamans you came looking for.
If Havelock is the headline act, Neil is the encore you remember longer. A small island ringed by five quiet beaches, with cycle-able lanes through paddy fields and banana plantations. There is almost nothing to do here — which is exactly the point.
Bharatpur & Laxmanpur
Bharatpur is the swimming beach — calm, shallow, glass-clear. Laxmanpur, a few minutes west, is where you'll watch the sunset turn the entire lagoon copper.
The Natural Bridge
A wind-and-water-carved coral arch on the island's west coast, best visited at low tide. The walk across the rocky reef bed is half the experience — bring reef-safe shoes.
Sitapur Beach
The island's eastern edge and one of the few places in the Andamans where you can watch the sun rise over the open sea. Long, wide, and almost always empty.
Where to eat
Garden View for thalis, Blue Sea for fresh seafood by the jetty, and Dugong (at Sea Shell) for a proper sit-down dinner.
